Ariana Grande says public break was planned, not impulsive

Ariana Grande told fans at a Chicago concert Monday that her upcoming break from the public eye was a decision she 'quietly made a long time ago,' not a 'reactive or impulsive thing.' The 33-year-old singer, who recently withdrew from a London production of 'Sunday in the Park With George,' said boundaries and breaks are needed, but the 'Eternal Sunshine' tour remains the greatest experience of her career. The tour ends Sept. 1 in London.
