Rajasthan High Court grants 20-day parole to Asaram

Rajasthan High Court granted 20-day parole to self-styled godman Asaram, serving life for sexually assaulting a minor in 2013. The bench said the state failed to justify rejecting parole, calling its apprehensions speculative, and noted Asaram, 85, has served 13 years with no violations during earlier interim releases. He must furnish a Rs 50,000 bond and two sureties.
