NC MLA Sajjad Shaheen attacks BJP, demands J-K statehood

On the anniversary of Article 370’s abrogation, National Conference MLA Sajjad Shaheen accused the BJP of misleading Jammu and Kashmir, saying militancy persists despite the constitutional change. Citing the Pahalgam attack, Kulgam killings and Anantnag shooting, he demanded the government fulfill its promise to restore statehood, noting the Supreme Court affidavit. He also claimed the revocation aimed to weaken the region’s people.
