SpaceX launches 24 Starlink satellites on 90th Falcon 9 flight

SpaceX launched 24 Starlink internet satellites into low Earth orbit on Aug. 4 from foggy Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, marking the 90th Falcon 9 flight of 2026 and the 70th Starlink mission this year. The first stage landed on the droneship 'Of Course I Still Love You' about 8.5 minutes after liftoff, completing the 34th flight for booster B1063. The satellites deployed about 61 minutes after launch. The company later planned to host a webcast for its first public earnings report.
