Chipotle pulls jalapeños as health officials probe salmonella outbreak

Chipotle Mexican Grill said Tuesday it removed jalapeños from some restaurants after the peppers were potentially linked to a salmonella outbreak being investigated by health officials. Minnesota has reported 110 cases, with many sickened diners having eaten at Chipotle, though officials say other restaurants are also involved. The FDA began a traceback investigation July 22. Chipotle replaced the peppers from different growers.
