NASA's Juno spacecraft launched to Jupiter 13 years ago

On Aug. 5, 2011, NASA launched the Juno spacecraft from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on a five-year journey to Jupiter. Arriving in 2016, Juno has provided unprecedented images and scientific data on Jupiter's composition, magnetic fields, and weather, succeeding the Galileo probe.
