India's Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari told the Rajya Sabha that no widespread complaints about E20 fuel have been received, citing scientific studies confirming its safety. The studies, conducted by ARAI, SIAM, IOCL, IIP, and automakers, found a 2-6% drop in fuel efficiency but no abnormal wear or performance issues in legacy vehicles. E20 fuel has been in use for over two-and-a-half years.
