Arab, Muslim diplomats launch plan to protect Jerusalem holy sites

Arab and Muslim foreign ministers meeting in Jordan agreed to establish a permanent mechanism to document and expose Israeli violations in occupied East Jerusalem and at its Islamic and Christian holy sites. A joint declaration warned that Jerusalem's sanctuaries are 'threatened as never before' and called for immediate international action. The plan includes a media platform to broadcast violations and will be discussed at a joint OIC-Arab League meeting during the UN General Assembly in September.
