Ladakh marks 7th UT Foundation Day with cultural celebrations

Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena attended the 'dPal rNgam Duston 2026' celebrations at Leh Palace on August 5, marking the seventh anniversary of Ladakh becoming a Union Territory. He praised the region's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, highlighting significant improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and connectivity since 2019, including a rise in districts from two to seven and road network expansion from 1,799 km to 4,063 km.
