Cambridge professor in plagiarism row resigns

Prof Jason Arday, the University of Cambridge sociologist at the center of a plagiarism controversy, has resigned with immediate effect, saying he needed to step away for his wellbeing and family. The university had launched an investigation following new information about his academic qualifications and honorary appointments. Arday admitted errors but denied being a liar, citing an orchestrated campaign against him.
