Mexican influencer shot dead during TikTok livestream

Mexican influencer César Gastélum was shot dead while livestreaming on TikTok outside a fast-food restaurant in Culiacán, Sinaloa state, on Tuesday. Two men on a motorcycle approached and shot him at close range before fleeing. Gastélum, who had over 500,000 followers, was known for comedy videos. Authorities are investigating possible links to cartel violence, as Sinaloa has seen deadly clashes between factions of the Sinaloa Cartel.
