Assam floods: Death toll hits 95, 14 districts on alert

Six more deaths in the last 24 hours have raised Assam's monsoon flood death toll to 95, with 14 districts on high alert as the Dhansiri river flows above danger level. Over 1.6 lakh people across 563 villages are affected, with Sivasagar worst hit. Infrastructure damage includes seven embankment breaches, while 16,951 hectares of crops are submerged and over 35,000 livestock affected.
