Ex-CDS: Pakistan sought ceasefire, India delayed response

Former Indian Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan revealed that Pakistan requested a ceasefire on May 10 during Operation Sindoor, but India deliberately delayed its response until the afternoon. Speaking at ThePrint's Off The Cuff event, Chauhan said Pakistan contacted India via the DGMO hotline after Indian airstrikes on Sargodha and Noor Khan airbases disrupted its air operations. India was determined to achieve its military objectives, with more strikes planned.
