Women allege rape and abuse at UK Army teen college

Four young women have told the BBC they were sexually assaulted and harassed at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate, with one alleging she was raped by multiple fellow soldiers in an attack lasting hours. The incidents occurred when they were 17. North Yorkshire Police received 16 reports of sexual offences linked to the college in the year to June, and MoD data shows 176 complaints of inappropriate sexual behaviour between 2018 and 2025. The Army called the reports 'extremely distressing and serious.'
