Rajnath Singh Chairs Panel Meet on Territorial Army

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a parliamentary committee meeting on Thursday, focusing on the Territorial Army's role and effectiveness. He highlighted its contribution to national security, disaster relief, and environmental conservation, noting its nearly 44,400 personnel across 59 units. Singh emphasized the force's 'citizen-soldier' concept and its role in bridging society and the military, while members offered suggestions to strengthen it further.
