Rajpal Yadav's properties to be auctioned over Rs 16.61 crore loan

Actor Rajpal Yadav faces fresh financial trouble as the Central Bank of India has issued auction notices for two of his properties in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, over an outstanding loan of Rs 16.61 crore. The loan was taken to finance his 2012 film 'Ata Pata Laapata', which failed at the box office. The e-auction is scheduled for September 9. This comes after the Delhi High Court restored his conviction in a cheque bounce case linked to the same film.
