Rights Groups: Israeli Strike Killed Journalist in War Crime

Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and The Legal Agenda released investigations on Thursday concluding that an Israeli strike that killed Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil and injured her colleague Zeinab Faraj in April was a war crime. The groups said Israel deliberately attacked the civilians, obstructed rescuers, and delayed ambulances, potentially contributing to Khalil's death. They called for investigations and accountability, with HRW urging sanctions and an arms embargo.
