Blue Origin traces New Glenn explosion to faulty oxygen valve

Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp said the May 28 explosion of its New Glenn rocket during a test at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station originated from a faulty main oxygen valve on one of the BE-4 engines. The company has conducted extensive tests and is making small modifications to the valve, with updated hardware expected by the end of August. New Glenn is slated to launch again before year's end, carrying the Blue Moon lander for NASA's Artemis program.
