India spent Rs 180 crore on PM Modi's 2025 foreign trips

The Indian government spent Rs 180.05 crore on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign visits in 2025, the highest in five years, according to data tabled in the Rajya Sabha. Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita disclosed the figures in response to MPs' questions, showing a steady rise from Rs 36.32 crore in 2021. The 2025 visits covered 23 countries, with France, Brazil, and the US among the costliest.
