Raveena Tandon urges compassion for stray animals

Actor Raveena Tandon called for compassion towards stray animals, citing rising cruelty such as animals being thrown from buildings or set on fire. Speaking at a screening of 'Ohh My Dog' in Mumbai, she urged courts to recognize that a nation's greatness is measured by its treatment of animals. She blamed improper implementation of the Animal Birth Control program and stressed humane population management through sterilization and vaccination.
