US seeks extradition of Filipino church leader Quiboloy

The United States has requested the Philippines extradite Apollo Quiboloy, a church leader on the FBI's most wanted list, to face trial for child sex trafficking and fraud. The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs received the request and endorsed it to the Department of Justice, which needs approval from two courts. Quiboloy, arrested in 2024 on abuse charges, denies the allegations, calling them fabricated.
