NASA astronauts prep ISS for solar array upgrade in spacewalk

NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Anil Menon completed a 6.5-hour spacewalk on Thursday to install mounting hardware for a new solar array on the International Space Station. The work prepares the station's 3B power channel for an iROSA wing, part of an upgrade that will boost electricity supply by 20-30%. Six of eight new arrays are already deployed, with the remaining two set to arrive later this year.
