Skadden defends ethics amid Democrats' questions on Trump deal

Law firm Skadden Arps has defended its ethics and pushed back against a demand from three Democratic U.S. lawmakers for more details about its deal with President Donald Trump to provide $100 million in free legal services. The lawmakers also sought information about Skadden's work advising chipmaker Intel on its sale of a nearly 10% equity stake to the U.S. Commerce Department, questioning whether it violated professional conduct rules.
