Fadnavis: Ramayana Deserves Oscar, It's a Film of a Millennium

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he would be disappointed if the Academy Awards jury does not give an Oscar to Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana', calling it 'a film of a millennium'. Speaking at the inauguration of Prime Focus Studio, he praised the film's scale and use of technology. The first part, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, releases on November 6, 2026, with a new English trailer unveiled.
