Israeli strikes wound eight in Lebanon amid Rome talks

Israeli air strikes and shelling in southern Lebanon's Tyre district wounded eight people, the Lebanese Health Ministry said, as a seventh round of US-mediated ceasefire negotiations concluded in Rome. The strikes hit Burj Shemali and other towns, with one civilian home destroyed. The talks, focused on Hezbollah's disarmament and Israel's withdrawal, were described as 'fruitful' by the US, but no breakthrough was reported. The escalation has killed 4,333 people since March 2.
