Gaganyaan achieves key human-rating milestones, minister says

India's Gaganyaan human spaceflight mission has achieved critical milestones, Space Minister Jitendra Singh told Parliament on Thursday. The Human Rated Launch Vehicle (HLVM3) has completed development and ground testing of all propulsion stages, while crew escape system motors and other safety systems have been qualified. The first uncrewed mission with Vyommitra is targeted for late 2026, followed by two more uncrewed flights before the first crewed mission.
