IMD warns of flash floods in 4 states as Delhi rains continue

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for Delhi on Friday, predicting continued rains for a second day after steady rainfall caused heavy waterlogging in the capital and NCR. The IMD also warned of low to moderate flash flood risk in parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand over the next 24 hours. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala and Karnataka, with overall rainfall likely to be normal to below normal in the first half of the week and normal to above normal in the second half.
