Beloved live cam eagle Jackie in critical condition

Jackie, the bald eagle who gained worldwide fame through the Big Bear Eagle Nest Cam in California, has been diagnosed with anemia and is in critical condition. Her packed cell volume has dropped to 13%, down from 17%, despite showing signs of improvement last week. She is under veterinary care at the Ojai Raptor Center. Jackie and her partner Shadow have been watched by millions via the nonprofit Friends of Big Bear Valley's live stream.
