Spokane wildfire suspect admits waiting for dry, windy day

Aaron Farinacci, 37, is accused of starting the Old Trails Fire, the largest of three wildfires near Spokane, Washington, that forced over 60,000 people to evacuate and destroyed more than 700 buildings. Court documents say he admitted to planning the fire for two weeks and waiting for hot, dry, windy conditions. He also claimed responsibility for 25 other fires. A judge raised his bond to $2 million and ordered a mental competency evaluation.
