South Korean orbiter captures Moon crash site of SpaceX rocket

South Korea's Danuri lunar orbiter has captured the first images of the Moon's surface after a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket stage crashed into it on Wednesday. The impact, which occurred at around 06:35 GMT, was unintentional, according to SpaceX. The rocket debris struck at about 5,400 mph (8,700 km/h), creating a crater and darkening the terrain. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is expected to survey the site next week. The incident has raised concerns about space debris.
