Chicago Ducky Derby Raises Funds for Special Olympics

More than 90,000 rubber ducks were dumped into the Chicago River on Thursday for the annual Chicago Ducky Derby, raising close to half a million dollars for Special Olympics Illinois. The event, which draws a large crowd, allows attendees to sponsor a duck for $10, with the fastest duck's sponsor winning an SUV and second place receiving $2,500 in cash.
