Maradona bedridden and resigned before death, masseur testifies

Diego Maradona's masseur testified at the trial of seven healthcare professionals in Argentina that the football legend was bedridden, suffering from excess body fluid, and appeared resigned in his final days. Nicolas Taffarel said he alerted the medical team to Maradona's condition but saw no action. Maradona died of heart failure and acute pulmonary oedema in 2020, two weeks after surgery. The defendants deny negligence.
