Heavy rainfall continued to lash Delhi and nearby areas for a third consecutive day on Saturday, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue red and orange alerts for parts of Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. The IMD also forecast heavy to very heavy rain across East India, Kerala, and Karnataka over the next few days.
