Kharge calls Congress 'real patriots', BJP 'deserters'

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday attacked the BJP and RSS, saying they contributed nothing to India's freedom struggle and calling BJP leaders 'deserters'. Speaking at a rally in Haldwani, he also accused them of looting temple offerings and questioned the 'double-engine' government's spending on publicity.
