Tamil Nadu MPs urge freeze on Lok Sabha seats amid delimitation row

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay chaired a meeting of state MPs on Saturday, urging the Union Government to freeze Lok Sabha seats at 543 and keep state representation unchanged. The meeting, boycotted by 37 of 57 MPs, resolved to pass an Assembly resolution against delimitation, which they say would reduce the state's representation.
