Sabalenka ousted by Alexandrova in Toronto

World number one Aryna Sabalenka lost to Russia's Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-6(3), 4-6, 6-4 in the Canadian Open fourth round on Saturday. The 16th-seeded Alexandrova saved match points and won in nearly two and a half hours. Sabalenka, the reigning US Open champion, was preparing for the tournament starting August 23.
