The pilot-in-command of an Air India flight that lost altitude en route from Phuket to Delhi has been sent for confirmatory psychoactive substance testing after an initial screening. The Airbus A320, carrying 137 passengers and eight crew, lost about 300 feet during cruise on August 4 before landing safely. Injuries were reported among passengers and crew. The incident is under investigation by the AAIB, and both pilots have been taken off roster.
