Most X accounts posting about UK unrest were based overseas

An analysis by the Guardian found that 55% of X accounts posting about riots in Belfast and Southampton were based outside the UK, with 16.8% from the US. Seven of the 12 most-read posts came from the US, highlighting foreign influence in UK disorder.
