BJD leader lauds party's tribal empowerment record

BJD leader Sujata Rout Karthikeyan praised the party's efforts in empowering Odisha's tribal communities, citing Special Development Councils in 23 districts as a model for the country. Party chief Naveen Patnaik, on World Indigenous Peoples Day, credited BJD programmes with bringing revolutionary changes and reaffirmed the fight to include 169 tribal communities in the ST list.
