Dipankar Gope, 35, was allegedly abducted from his tea garden in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district on Saturday by about 20 Bangladeshi men and taken into Bangladesh's Panchagarh district. His family links the abduction to a foiled infiltration attempt on August 6. BSF held a flag meeting with BGB, but Gope remained in BGB custody as of Saturday night.
