Sinner withdraws from Cincinnati with knee injury

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the Cincinnati Open due to a right knee injury, following Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal with a wrist issue. The 24-year-old Italian, who won Wimbledon last month, said he is not ready to compete and will focus on recovering for the US Open, which begins August 30.
