SC orders verification of Manipur violence aid claims

The Supreme Court on Monday directed its committee to verify claims that nearly 24,000 families affected by the 2023 Manipur ethnic violence have not received rehabilitation benefits. It also asked Manipur and Assam governments to consider setting up special courts for CBI and NIA cases, and sought compiled case details for transparency.
