Jharkhand Police Use Tear Gas, Lathi Charge at Student Protest

Thousands of JPSC and JSSC aspirants clashed with police in Ranchi on Monday during a march to the Jharkhand Assembly, demanding cancellation of certain exams and a CBI probe into alleged recruitment irregularities. Police used water cannons, tear gas, and lathi charge to disperse protesters, with some injuries reported. The protest, led by the JPSC-JSSC Reform Morcha, entered its 17th day.
