Vismaya Mohanlal's debut film Thudakkam has set a new record for the highest opening day collection for a female-led Malayalam film, earning ₹2.55 crore net in India and ₹6.86 crore gross worldwide. However, it fell short of Kalyani Priyadarshan's Lokah in opening weekend totals, with ₹10.43 crore net and ₹23.46 crore gross versus Lokah's ₹14.30 crore and ₹40.87 crore.
