Panel visits Jammu to study border demographic changes

A high-level committee arrived in Jammu on Monday to study demographic changes near the Pakistan border, engaging with local civil society groups. The panel, constituted by the Home Ministry, will visit border settlements in Kathua and Samba districts and a detention centre housing Rohingyas. It will recommend measures to address illegal immigration.
