Bengal and Delhi Capitals cricketer Abhishek Porel was arrested on Tuesday over allegations of rape, assault, and criminal intimidation filed by a medical student. Police arrested him from Emami City under Dum Dum police station and produced him before Chinsurah Court. The case was registered in June 2026 under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and IT Act.
