Putin threatens tit-for-tat seizures of European vessels

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Wednesday that Moscow would seize European vessels in response to any European Union seizures of Russian cargo ships, calling such actions "piracy and robbery." The threat follows EU sanctions permitting member states to sell oil or cargo from intercepted ships. Putin also accused NATO of increasing tensions in the Asia-Pacific and Arctic regions.
