WestJet agreed to pay C$4.5m to settle a decade-long sexual harassment class action by female flight attendants who alleged the airline failed to maintain a safe workplace. The suit followed a former attendant's claim that a pilot sexually assaulted her but kept flying. A British Columbia judge approved the settlement, which covers 3,452 attendants.
