UN attributes Red Fort blast to AQIS

A UN Security Council monitoring report has officially attributed the November 2025 car bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort, which killed 11 people, to al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). The report warns of AQIS efforts to establish cells in Bangladesh and notes its evolving regional networks. India's NIA had earlier filed charges against 10 individuals linked to an AQIS affiliate.
