India has directed state refiners IOC, BPCL, and HPCL to source at least 15% of 2027 LPG imports via US term contracts, aiming to diversify supply and reduce Middle East dependence. The move follows Iran war disruptions and supports trade talks with Washington, with US shipments already at a record 3.9 million tons this year.
